Dan Helton -Pro Farrier

Helton farrier service is committed to providing quality hoof care and customer service. 24 hour emergency service and next day shoe replacement. All calls/e-mails
will be returned within 24 hours. I have been a full- time farrier for 18 years. The last 10 of those years serving Indiana.  My service area includes all of Indiana, eastern Illinois, southern Michigan, and western Ohio.
 
I pull a trailer with a  full service shop, stocked with just about everything needed to shoe any breed of horse. References are available upon request.  Check out the photo gallery, and have a look at some of my work.  All shoes you see on this site are handmade. I also do some simple ornamental blacksmithing. Hoof picks, hearts, halter holders, etc. If  your interested in my services or have any questions, I would like to hear from you.
  
The picture above is of an arabian show horse. Handmade shoe from 5/16"x1" x13.5" barstock, with an extra heavy leather pad, packed with impression material.
